Hi, my name's Katie.
I'm from Coventry in the UK, and I live in the West of France with my husband and two children.
I have dual nationality and live very much inbetween British and French culture, enjoying the best of both.
I love reading and writing stories, and imagining illustrations to go with them.
I mostly work by hand with watercolour, gouache, and coloured pencils, but I also like to throw in a bit of collage from time to time and to edit digitally.
My inspiration often comes from nature, but also from the little bits of mundane magic, which we can all find in day-to-day life when we look for it. However, if ever I do have trouble finding it, I also like to go looking for it in folk-tales and legends.
